Americans spend as much time on their mobiles as reading print
That last post concerned the decline of the global magazine industry.
In fact according to eMarketer (via Techcrunch), every day Americans now spend more than 2x as long on their mobiles (50 mins) as they do reading magazines (20 mins). Indeed, as much time is spent using mobile devices as reading newspapers (30 mins) and magazines (20 mins) combined.
